Σε μια πρωτοποριακή κίνηση προχώρησε ο κολοσσός του παγκοσμίου κινηματογράφου Paramount, καθώς την ώρα που άλλες εταιρίες προσπαθούν με νύχια και με δόντια να σταματήσουν την δωρεάν προβολή των ταινιών τους, η ίδια αποφάσισε να τις διαθέσει δωρεάν στο διαδίκτυο.
Για αυτόν τον λόγω, μάλιστα, η εταιρία δημιούργησε διαδικτυακό κανάλι στο You Tube, μέσω του οποίου θα παρέχει στο κοινό πρόσβαση σε δεκάδες ταινίες δική της παραγωγής. Παράλληλα, οι ταινίες έχουν χωριστεί σε κατηγορίες, όπως τρόμου, δράμα, περιπέτειες και κωμωδίες, προκειμένου να διευκολύνουν την περιήγηση των επισκεπτών στο διαδικτυακό τους κανάλι.
